Mae is an Emmy Award-winning journalist and filmmaker, currently making documentaries for More Perfect Union. Her reporting focuses on the systems concentrating wealth and power, and the communities fighting back against them.
Mae started her career as a video journalist at The Guardian and The New York Times, covering a wide range of issues from immigration to policing and gender. She then went on to produce documentary films and television series for A24, HBO, Showtime, Hulu and FX.
